TOI-411 b is a fascinating exoplanet discovered in 2022 by the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite, better known as TESS, which spotted this intriguing world as it passed in front of its star, HD 22946. While the planet itself doesn’t yet have a flashy nickname, it orbits close to its host star, making it a scorching neighbor in this distant solar system. Thanks to TESS’s sharp CCD array, astronomers can catch glimpses of its transits and learn about its size and orbit. Although TOI-411 b is far beyond our solar system, it kindles curiosity about the many diverse worlds out there, each waiting to tell their story across the cosmic neighborhood.
