Kepler-171 c is a fascinating exoplanet orbiting the star Kepler-171, discovered back in 2014 by the Kepler space telescope using the clever transit method. This means we spotted the planet by watching it sneakily pass in front of its star, causing a tiny dip in brightness. While Kepler-171 c doesn’t yet have a proper name, it’s part of the exciting family of worlds found in the vast expanse of space beyond our solar system. Although its exact size and distance might be a little mysterious, it’s a shining example of how our trusty Kepler CCD Array keeps unveiling new cosmic neighbors, inviting us to dream about what adventures might await out there in the stars.
