K2-75 b is a charming exoplanet orbiting the star K2-75, discovered in 2016 thanks to the keen eyes of space-based telescopes using the transit method. This means astronomers spotted it by noticing tiny dips in the star's brightness as the planet casually passed in front of it. K2-75 b was found using the famous Kepler CCD Array during the K2 mission, a space telescope adventure that has unveiled many distant worlds. While the exact details about its size and atmosphere remain a work in progress, K2-75 b adds to the rich tapestry of planets beyond our solar system, inviting us to imagine the variety of alien environments that exist out there in the cosmic neighborhood.
